The annual black-tie optional event to benefit Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan has been rescheduled for the fall.

The 2020 annual celebration will take place on September 11 at Petruzzello's Banquet Hall in Troy. The event was initially set to take place during Lent but was moved because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Catholic Charities will honor Father Brian Chabala during the event, which includes a dinner, music, dancing, a live auction and a silent auction. Event proceeds will go toward funding 14 offices in the Archdiocese of Detroit.

The Church of the Holy Family, Our Lady Star of the Sea, St. Colette Parish, and Saints Cyril and Methodius also will all be recognized with the "Our Time. Talent, and Treasure" awards.  All Saints Catholic School will be honored with the Outstanding Catholic School distinction award.

Participants in the event's live auction can bid on a cockapoo puppy, Alaskan cruise, and 20x24 custom family oil portrait.

Tickets are $200 per person or $2,000 for a table.
