The Diocese of Lansing invited Tim Francis, a renowned Catholic speaker, to deliver a compelling presentation on the significance of Eucharistic miracles throughout history this week.
“Pleased to welcome renowned Catholic speaker, Tim Francis, to the Diocese of Lansing with his presentation on Eucharistic miracles as signs from God, April 17-21, beginning tonight at Lansing Catholic High School,” Lansing Bishop Earl Boyea said in a tweet on Monday announcing the schedule. “All welcome.”
Francis delivered a presentation called "Signs from God: Miracles and Their Meaning." The presentation delves into the meaning of Eucharistic miracles throughout history. These presentations are free and open to anyone interested in attending, the Diocese of Lansing said in a release.
As part of his stay, Francis visited Lansing Catholic High School in Lansing, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell and Lumen Christi Catholic High School in Jackson.
On Thursday, he continued his tour at Father Gabriel Richard Catholic High School in Ann Arbor, and on Friday, he will wrap up his presentations at Powers Catholic High School in Flint.
Attendees were advised that doors would open at 5 p.m. for each event, and the program would end at 8:30 p.m. unless otherwise stated, the diocese said.
"Tim’s 90-minute presentation on Eucharistic miracles as signs from God has brought many to a greater belief in, and love for, Our Lord truly present in the Holy Eucharist. His work is as fascinating as it is inspiring," Boyea said in a message to the diocese, according to a report by Eucharistic Miracles. "Therefore, it is my prayer that you too, along with many others, will be similarly inspired by Tim’s presentation of these science-defying miracles such that every soul in our diocese will one day echo the words of Saint Ignatius of Antioch: 'I hunger for the bread of God, the flesh of Jesus Christ; I long to drink of his blood, the gift of unending love.’"
