The Archdiocese of Detroit’s Black Catholic Ministries Gospel Choir will hold a concert for its 10th anniversary Nov. 7.
The Archdiocese of Detroit made up a choir of 100 voices in 2010 for the National Pastoral Musicians Conference in Detroit.
“Join us for the 10th annual Black Catholic Ministries Gospel Choir on November 7 at 5 p.m.! The concert will take place at Sacred Heart Church in Detroit. You can purchase the tickets for $10 each at aod.org/gospelchoirconcert,” the Archdiocese of Detroit tweeted.
The choir is grateful for the opportunity to perform and believes that worship music has the power to transform lives and souls, according to the Archdiocese of Detroit.
The Detroit’s Black Catholic Ministry program helps to fulfill the spiritual and social needs of the Catholic community. The program works alongside the National Black Catholic Congress, as well as other black Catholic ministries in the nation.
Tickets for the event can be purchased online in advance or at the door, according to EventBrite.
