St. Scholastica Parish - Detroit issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
The Become the Fire Prayer Gathering will host an evening of praise, worship, adoration and healing on
Friday, December 4th at 7pm at St. Scholastica parish in Detroit,
both in-person
and on-line
with personal prayer ministry.
This will be a perfect opportunity for us to gather as a community to worship Jesus our Lord and Savior. Come and join us in praying for the healing of our hearts and minds.
Bill Richart and Friends will be leading worship for the gathering. Bill will also lead us in an evening of healing as he calls upon the King of kings and Lord of lords to pour out His Divine Power upon us and our nation!
Fr.Jim Lowe will give an exhortation on the importance of slowing down during Advent as we wait upon the Lord. He wants to come into our lives. The question is, are we ready?

There are 3 ways to participate in the BTF gathering:
1. In-person:
Those wishing to attend the gathering in-person at St. Scholastica parish (8201 W. Outer Drive, Detroit, MI 48219) must plan to wear a face mask and socially distance from those you don’t live with (refer to COVID-19 Response and Resources from the Archdiocese of Detroit for more information).
2. On-line using Zoom with access to Personal Prayer Ministry: Those who prefer to attend the live-streamed BTF gathering on-line and desire to receive prayer from a trained prayer team, should utilize the “Become the Fire Gathering + ZOOM PRAYER ROOM” link available on the St. Scholastica parish website at https://scholastica.church/
3. On-line through St. Scholastica website: Those who prefer to only attend the gathering on-line, the BTF gathering will also be live-streamed through the St. Scholastica parish website at https://scholastica.church/
