Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the University of Detroit Mercy’s fall commencement ceremonies scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 15, will be held virtually; with ceremonies starting at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The McNichols Campus graduate and undergraduate ceremony will be at 1 p.m., the School of Dentistry’s ceremony will be at 2:30 p.m. and the School of Law’s commencement ceremony will be at 4 p.m., a release issued on the university’s website said.
“All of our graduates have worked extremely hard and although we cannot congratulate them in person, we hope that these virtual commencement ceremonies will convey to them how proud we are that they are now University of Detroit Mercy alumni,” Antoine Garibaldi, University of Detroit Mercy president, was quoted as saying in the release.
Graduates and those wishing to support graduates can attend the ceremonies virtually by visiting the university's Commencement 2020 Web page, the release stated.
