St. Catherine Laboure Parish in Concord encouraged its parishioners to return to Mass and reminded the congregants of the safety protocols in place, including the wearing of masks while attending Mass.
In its Sept. 3 e-newsletter, the parish noted the six-month mark of the pandemic shutdown and dispensation from attending Sunday Mass.
"We are moving forward, not backward," Pastor Fr. Timothy Krzyzaniak said in the newsletter. "I understand that some in our parish might still be experiencing fear and anxiety regarding going about a normal routine and I understand their concern. But I challenge those who are shopping at the big box stores, yet not coming to church, to start coming back to Mass in order to nurture their soul with the grace of the Sacraments."
"Please do not use the excuse that we do not have to go to Mass right now to be the only reason why you are not coming to holy Mass on Sunday," Krztzaniak stated. "You are missed."
