St. Vincent de Paul recently issued the following announcement.

Sunday, September 27, is the Feast of Saint Vincent DePaul. As we have done with all three of our patrons, we will celebrate his feast. Since our parish church is dedicated under the patronage of Saint Vincent DePaul, we are able to use the Scripture Readings designated for his feast with music to complement those Scripture Readings. Please watch for more details about the feast day in next week’s bulletin.

 Sunday, September 27, is also Father Jim Bessert’s Fortieth Anniversary of Ordination. We will be celebrating his anniversary as a parish at the 5:00 PM Saturday Mass. We are so fortunate to have Father Jim as our Sacramental Minister. He certainly spiritually enriches us with his homilies and the celebration of the sacraments, particularly Sunday Eucharist. Please keep him in your prayers as he celebrates this milestone anniversary. Please note that we will have special baskets near the church entrance at each of the Masses if you would like to give Father Jim an anniversary card.
