Youth Ministry News
School has begun for our youth! This year will be different, but we will continue to gather. All youth received a back-toschool card of encouragement that stated:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” I wish many blessings to all youth and parents!
We have been gathering all summer and will continue to do so this fall. Thanks to all parents who have encouraged their child to participate during this difficult time.
Our youth had a “kick-off” to school event last Wednesday at the Lupcke family home. We played games, won prizes, had a campfire, received a calendar of events, and took
part in a great discussion led by seniors Ella Smith, Katy Schuler, and Zeb Lupcke. Everyone enjoyed their time in the woods; thanks to Lupcke’s for hosting us.
Faith Formation registrations are due this weekend. I look forward to greeting our newest 6th grade students who are now also Youth Group members! At our first class (weather permitting), we will meet outside where our high school members will welcome you. I look forward to a year of learning
and growing in faith. We are BT! Catechetical Sunday will be celebrated next weekend. Families should pick up goody bags for their registered students (the bags are filled with awesome items, including a back-pack prayer tag).
