St. Michael Parish (Maple Grove) recently issued the following announcement.

Permanent Deacon Formation Program

If you are sensing a call to serve as a permanent deacon-and are considering applying for the Permanent Deacon Formation Program- please save Wednesday, September 23, 2020 on your calendar. Bishop Gruss plans to be on hand for a 7:00 p.m. meeting (site to be determined) which will kick-off the application period. Spouses are also required to attend since they must give consent for the husband to apply. The individual’s pastor or director of parish life is also encouraged to attend. The meeting site will be announced after Labor Day, and it may be necessary to hold the meeting online, depending on where things stand with COVID-19.
