Mass Of Atonement

On Monday, September 14, 2020 Bishop Gruss will celebrate a Mass of Atonement at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw at 6 pm, in sorrow for the victims of child abuse and neglect and in particular victims of child sexual by clergy. While a limited number of individuals may register to attend this Mass (https://saginaw.org), the Mass will also be available by livestream at: https://saginaw.org/cathedral-live. 

Caring Hearts Needed

Heartland Hospice is looking for caring and dedicated people who wish to volunteer their time and services to helping hospice patients and their families through the final journey of their life. Volunteers can help by with: companionship, running errands, household chores, gardening, crafts, clerical duties, make bereavement calls and more. Training is provided. Grief Recovery Series

A six week Grief Recovery Series will be starting on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace Parish (St. Mary Church) in Bay City. This series is for any adult grieving a loss due to death. It will help you better understand grief, improve coping skills, and develop the ability to move forward. For more information, call Joyce at 989-686- 1895. This series is FREE of charge. You may attend this series (every year if you choose) as many times as you wish. Each time, you may gain some support in different ways you need at that point in time.
