The Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit shared a reflection on their Aug. 9 church bulletin, explaining the joy of rediscovering the person of Jesus.

"Who am I? Who is God? What am I here for? What matters most and least? If you been asking yourself these questions lately, we have something for you,” the bulletin said. “It’s called Rediscover Jesus— where we discover the answers to these questions by encountering Jesus who longs to help us discover deeply personal answers to our deeply personal questions.”

The program is offered in two ways: Parishioners can register for a video-based meditation program that spans 40 days. In only 10 minutes a day, they will be able to have an encounter with Christ in a personal way. Or, they can participate in Zoom meetings to discuss relevant topics. The meetings began on Aug. 7 and are an hour long, starting at 6 p.m. for English and 7 p.m. for Spanish.
