St. Andre' Bessette Catholic Church in Ecorse Michigan issued the following announcement on Aug. 13. 

The parish family mourns the passing of long-time parishioner, Daniel Blaszczyk.

His Mass of Resurrection is at 11:00 a.m. and he will lie in-state starting at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
