The Catholic Foundation of Michigan recently announced that it is providing help to St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School students who need tuition assistance.
At the end of 2018, a family decided to open a fund with the Foundation for St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School in honor of Mary Frances Donahoe and Elizabeth Hodgin. Thanks to the assistance fund, a number of students have had support for their schooling, with two cycles of students having received the assistance.
Eight students in kindergarten and first grade have been given full scholarships for their whole time at St. Clare. Ann Crowley, principal at St. Clare of Montefalco, said that these scholarships are very meaningful.
“The small class sizes brought a true family feel to all those in each classroom,” Crowley told the Catholic Foundation. “We are grateful to the Donahoe family for their generosity, which is helping provide hope for the future at St. Clare of Montefalco school.”
